This is the beginning of the show, on the three big screens some shot of the band arriving in a building, this building is nothing but the stage dressed like the top of a skyscraper. A camera shows the inside of an elevator where the band is waiting for the doors to open, and whet they opens they're right on stage. After a few seconds of ovations the guys start the concert with 'one wild night', right after another fast song: 'raise your hands' from the 'slippery' album. And so on with real rock & roll in BJ style but without slow ballads, so the stadium hears the notes of 'in these arms', 'wild in the streets', 'cap. Crash and the beauty queen from mars', 'Older', 'it's my life', 'you give love a bad name' and a cover: 'rocking all over the world'. Jon wears for almost all the show a cowboy hat and sunglasses -appears tired, Richie and Tico are great as usual, Dave and Hugh do their time. Nice moments: the rhytmic firework explosions on 'lay your hands on me', on the solo of 'next 100 years' the screen shows images from the last century with important peoples like Einstein, J.F.Kenney, Gandhi, Marylin Monroe, Reagan, etc. Quite funny on 'bad medicine' when Richie starts to sing the 1st verse and Jon remains stunned. After a little break Richie's back on the stage with his bluesy 'Stranger in this town' and then the last songs 'Wanted' and ěLivin' an a prayer' in an half acoustic version. The bad thing was that the italian police decided to divide the fans as they wanted, so people like me was forced to go on the high stand of the stadium without the possibility to go on the grass, shit! At the end was a nice show but only of half an hour and they didn't play one of my fave: 'Keep The Faith' and nothing from 'These Days' album. Is that our guys are not as believers as a few years ago? They just want to act as rock stars? It's good to know that they're still there shoulder to shoulder but seeing all the guys that were there for the same thing I say that the fans are real great and important. Nice also the special rock & roll guest Southside Johnny and the Ashbury Jukes.

Keep the faith
