27 June 2001 - Padova, Italy Concert Review 2 July 2001
Come back soon... you've got to apologize!!!

My dear Jon,
I was expecting your "home coming" tour between 5 years...
what a bad night!!!

I've seen Bon Jovi from every tours they did, and the Padua's gig has been certainly the baddest ever. Jon was ill (it was easy understand it from his face, always covered by sunglasses and a cowboy hat) and nobody can blame him for this, but 25.000 people are thinkin': Is this the real gratest rock 'n' roll band of the world?. Yesterday night, on Italian TV, they broadcasted a Bruce Springsteen show recorded at Madison Square Garden: Jon is always saying that he decided to became a rockstar seeing the boss... it's better if we don't put your Padua's show on the same level of the Bruce's show in NYC.

However, the light show was great, and the fireworks were absolutlely wonderfull... but a singer have to sing.

In an hour and a half of show, the boys played 17 songs, taken from the Bon Jovi history and from the latests success albums: the crowd was surprised to hear live rarities as Raise your hands and Livin' on a prayer acoustic, and jumped following the killin' rythm of One wild night, Bad Medicine (singed more or less completely by Richie Sambora, still the king of swing) Just Older and I'll sleep when I'm dead.

The shame was that, at the moment the show entered in the hottest minutes, it ended!!!

Well, Jon, you've got to listen to me now, 'cause I've listened to you for about 16 years.

YOU GOT TO COME BACK, IN A REAL ARENA, TO SING BACK ALL THE CRITICS!!!!

YOUR FATHER'S BIRTHPLACE IS ALWAYS KEEPING THE FAITH... BUT YOU HAVE THE HELP THE PEOPLE IN BELIEVIN'
