In ebay.de (Germany) no bootlegs are allowed at all and are pulled by ebay. They pull promos also. In ebay.co.uk it is a different story. I also don't back up file sharing forums as
1) The quality is mostly audience recordings in shit quality
2) Those recordings always end up on a bootleg which is for sale!

So it is illegal!

With TV shows or broadcasts I am not sure as these braodcasts are usually belonging to the TV station and may not put up for download or sth else. That's why lots of youtube clips are pulled if they are from official broadcasts.

But we're wrong here because this thread is for "Killing/not Killing " born_to_run right ???

I really dont see the difference between Seb and Born to Run... both dislike the present Bon Jovi music, both have slagged the band to the hills , ... only difference is Seb has been doing this for many years. Look at Goose's posts recently putting LH/Backstage down in an extreme manner... some people are airing negative views about LH. It was the same when LTFR came out. I like LH , but still think others should be allowed the right to express their own viewpoint.

If Born to Run wants to make a comment about bootlegs then thats his right, plenty of people have commented about how they dislike bootlegs.

If people dont like it then they should ignore it. This is how it has always been dealt with, why should it change now. If mods think Born to run has another negative agenda then this should be dealt in another way , not in a poll. How would the mods like it if someone did a poll about them ... oh wait that has already happened and been closed, so why should this one be allowed.

If JTers have a problem with a board user they should pm the mods and not be allowed to use a poll or to discuss the persons behaviour in a post, as this can be viewed as a personal attack , which is not permitted.

I liked BJ until this year (Despite mediocre or even BAD records like TLFR) Now for me they have become a joke sadly!

Meh, I think you guys are taking this guy a bit too seriously. None of his posts have particularly indicated to me that he's here for any reason other than to wind people up, and I'd say he's rather being given what he wants
