Like the people who want the search function back you mean?

(People - that was a joke, please take it as it is :P)
No, as we don't actually need a FAG forum here, there are plenty places for that online. A search function is much better to have though, and I bet even the major users of the FAG forum miss having it

This is Peter's board to do what HE wants to do with it. If Peter. wants to lock a topic for any reason it is his to perogative to do so. If he wants to take suggestions he will, if he doesn't that is also his perogative.

Bottom line:
Peter pays for this board, it is Peter's bandwidth & he can do whatever he wants to do , whether you & I or anyone else likes it or not.

DEAL WITH IT!!!!!

You've missed the entire point. If the administrator tells his moderators to give the users free speach, if the administrator tells about Jovitalk's biggest policy rule being the free speech then it looks a bit sad that that administrator is going against his own policy just because people advise or talk about the decisions he has made.

What if Peter makes a new layout, and you don't like it and would expres your opinion about it. Wouldn't it feel stupid if he'd close the topic because you're talking about his decisions ? Also, everyone takes everything Peter says for granted even when someone else goes against it and tells him he's wrong about something. Just because he pays for this and runs it doesn't mean he knows it all.

Also, he's absolutely right when he says it's his decision to delete the search function. But you discuss things on a messageboard, even if you run it. If you notice your users are a bit upset about it, you discuss it. Even if you run it. And then you can make the final solution.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

This topic has been discussed "ad nauseum" for a few months now. I would say it is pretty obvious at least to me, that Peter has made his final decision or solution.

True. But the difference between me thinking I am right and you thinking I am right is because it almost never happens that someone tells me I'm wrong. And regarding this situation people have told you about being wrong, but you did nothing with that information, except complaining about all the complaints from our side.

That's exactly it Seb. Same with the discussions that I get involved in. everytime I say "if i was alone on the matter" then fine, I'm clearly in the wrong. But when people agree, it's clearly a different story.

There is a difference between hearing from actual users rather than saying, "You know, a bunch of people agree with me about this."

Don't try to relate to Seb, Joey, because in all honesty you can't.
