I mean you would have one part of the board with one server and the other with a different one, there by freeing up space . as i said i'm not sure if it would work but if Peter could work it through links or something then he would need as much band width would he??

The server load would lighten, yes, but the cost of the second server would probably be too much. I say ditch the FAG altogether. The server load is probably caused by multiple loads and re-loads by the FAG-users.

OK things seem to be better now - let's hope they stay this way.

While hiding of FAG forum is not what directly caused the situation to improve, that forum certainly causes problems - not due to high number of posts but because of impossibly large topics (this boars software is quite poorly written when it comes to that).

Glad its sorted now anyway . To stop this sort of thing happening again could you put a limit on the amount of posts per topic? other places i got to do this and things seem to run fine .
