I loaded the page, got a load of pop ups and also a virus!

Im presuming the mods are not pop up or virus free either, so can the mods comment please on what is occurring and what can be done about this problem ...

I 100% agree with the problematic ads. I usually can click them away or even go around them. But they are flying in and sometimes you get two per page. Today, one caught me off guard and I accidentally clicked it -- got re-routed to some other page that I'm not so sure I'd want anyone to walk into the room while it's open!

Dawn, I'm not getting them. I don't know if it's because of how mod accounts are set up or because of how my Firefox is configured or because the Norton software that usually drives me nuts is finally earning its keep. There's nothing that regular mods can do about this problem, unfortunately. I've been forwarding information to Kev since I know his "real life" has been keeping him incredibly busy these days. He's working with Peter on a solution, and when I heard from him yesterday, it sounded like we should be hearing something soon. I'm sorry that I don't have more specifics for you, but I wanted you to know that Kev and Peter are aware of and are working on the problem. Hang in there, folks!

Aye it's shit! I hate the ****ers. Especially the ones that come across the screen, or the whole page ads that you have to press "skip" in the top right corner. I know that ads are necessary to pay for the upkeep of the site, but for ****'s sake these are ridiculous.

Every time I press "skip" it never skips So not only is is ****ing annoying advertising, but it's false advertising too - that's doubly worser.
