So if someone says "**** off" then it means, by your logic, "have sex like animals off"?

**** is same as Mate, Reproduce, Intercourse, Shag, Screw and many more. Why can't I say one but the others are OK? Same for Shit, that's banned but I can say Crap, Pooh, Exrement etc.

People have just been taught that certain words are bad, but they don't use common sense to see that they are just words.

The same way a lot of people have been taught to believe that their is a God rather than to question some things. Just my opinion.

I don't see the point with a granny but I rather find it important that a child learns to accept that there are words that are not too decent, rather than pretending they don't exist. They get to know those words one way or the other. Some asterisks will only wake their attention.

Point stays a lot of people feel offended by a lot of different things. And we would discuss nothing but those things when everyone would point them out. If it was such a big deal for the board the moderators would be more strictly about it.

Nowhere does it say it is 'offensive', it says it is 'vulgar slang' (see brackets at the end). It is used as a both intransitive and transitive verb, noun, interjection, in phrasal verbs. It does not just mean to have sex like animals at all! Captain crash's wtf etc. were interjections, where the word is used to "express extreme displeasure". Nothing to do with copulating at all.

thats because they have updated the meaning and what it is seen to mean these days, this is not the originally meaning, and to people my age the f word mean to have sex like animals.

I know my signature isnt indecent, whether it really offends people I call into questions the handful of people that have stated this here.

The point is Peter has installed a profanityy filter on this board to prevent people from swearing, he has done this for a reason. People choose to ignore this and continue swearing which is becoming excess, this is disrespectful to Peters wishes and wil llower the reputation of this board if the amount of swearing should continue.

I dont see the board going into disrepute due to my Jesus signature !
