Well, I feel pretty honoured but I am sorry I have to reject my nomination. It is true I am here almost everyday and to an extent I would really like to be a moderator on here. But as of now I am having major problems getting my diploma done and I highly doubt being a moderator, browsing even more separated forums etc. would be any more conducive to it.

Oh, I forgot:

I agree that Becky and Ice would be good moderators.
I also agree that an American timezones member would be good.

And just for the record: the mentioned "major" problems with my diploma refer rather to my attitude and will, NOT to my abilities.

Thank you to the people who suggested me. I think I would have time to do this since I can access the site from home and work. On the days when I'm doing paperwork, I log on several times a day from work.

I also agree with Iceman as a suggestion and would like to add Jim Bon Jovi and allmike. All are on quite a bit and come across as level-headed and fair. Well, Jim's militia aside, of course.

Aloha !

I suggest Iceman. He knows his stuff, knows how a forum works and knows the principles of a forum; he wouldn't delete stuff because "it's a little too confroversial for HIS liking instead of for all the users liking." Also, he doesn't care when people disagree with his decisions and would never take it too personal, while some mods over here can not handle an attack on their decisions very well and feel offended.

im not so sure that it *does* matter where in the world the new mod(s) come from... i know i dont post so much on here anymore but im still around a lot, though my main time of browsing as a large chunk now tends to be between the hours of 12am and 3am, which would make me more running on US time, as i know some of the other europeans do also.

disregarding someone because of where they live is *not* the way to go...
