But a part of me thinks it's funny we can't accept All About Loving You for being a true power ballad of theres because it was made to sound like the past when Thank You For Loving Me is just as guilty, even down to rehashing "These five words". Both, to me, felt very forced and calculated but I guess the band post 1992 can be guilty of that.

The amount of people that lists Thank you for loving me as one of their favorite Bon Jovi songs would surprise you. It's aged extremely well and is still being played at weddings, and graduations (as a dedication to the parents). Music really hasn't evolved that much since then so stuff released in 2000 (which is already 22 years old) is still pretty relevant within the landscape of music as a whole. Which is really weird when you think about it....
