There's a reason why it was left out of the GH compilation and Richie being quoted saying: "Bounce wasn't much fun, but we shoved it down everyone's throats anyway..."

I still don't get the hate for that album. Maybe it's because, while knowing the band and their music long before, that album finally turned me into a fan.
To me it is one of their most consistent albums. It is one of only a few Bon Jovi albums in which you can clearly hear the musical leitmotif. While there are (as usual) quite some outtakes that are better songs, the song selection as a whole fits much better together than the songs on Crush or even on Keep The Faith. Bounce has a flow that Crush and Keep The Faith are missing (both great albums in their own right, but as mentioned by many of you in a lot of threads before, Keep The Faith has very strong and perfectly fitting first 6 songs while afterwards the flow drops).

At the end of the day it's probably just a matter of taste.
