If who say's counts then KTF should count as it was number one on the Rock charts.
Just saying, it should be fair. Why wasn't it a big deal back then as it is now??

True.

I tihnk Who Says... gets a bigger deal made out of it because it was the first song to go #1 on a country charts by a rock band.

It was. And that is a pet peeve of mine. However, if you look in any record book, they always chalk it up under Bon Jovi.

You know what they say - If you can't beat 'em, join 'em (just kidding.)

Default #1 singles in Europe, Japan, Australia, South America

Interesting !

Does someone know websites listing all the #1 singles in all the other countries ?

Because BJ had so many more hit singles in the rest of the world than in the US.

Plus, in these countries, what counts is how many people actually paid to have the single, and not radio stations willing to play the song.

The list must include:

Keep the faith
Bed of roses
Always
Saturday Night
This ain't a love song
Something for the pain
Midnight in Chelsea
It's my life (best-selling Universal single for the year 2000)
Everyday
Have a nice day

Okay, now, that makes sense. I knew they had two hits in the 80's and one in the 70's in the US and that was about it for them. Very interesting they had the number one in the UK in the 90's.
