hate to put a dampner on it but the uk charts are VERY corrupt with record companies buying thousands of records themselves to ensure a record hits top spot as has happened numerous times in the past. the latest release of ' alittle less conversation' had been no 1 for weeks when the same record company released the latest song from the pop prats programme - what happened? the company withdrew 'a little less..' so there were not enough copies in circulation to keep it no1 hence allowing their new reocrd to take over.
what I am saying is that there is no way everyday will be a genuine no1 this weekend because it has had no airplay, no reviews and next to no publicity. it will be nice to see them get a no1 single but it will definately be fixed as the rest of the uk charts have been for years.
