I'm not arguing his spot in that list as I find such lists rather dull, but The Boss can do quite a few things with his voice, nice falsetto not too many others can do, for example.

Listen to Darkness On The Edge Of Town (the song) and understand! The lsit says rock, and that's rock, the screaming of frustrations!

its talking about rock singers, the best rock singers and it doesnt have Meat Loaf!!! wtf!

not one of the singers on that could hit the notes on Bat out Of Hell or Anything for Love, but id say the Loaf could hit the notes perfect on on one of them 20 singers songs!

and thats him at 60, what was he like back 30 year ago??

the last time meat loaf was in holland he was coughing and cleaning his throat all the time, not much left of the voice you describe, maybe only on album.

Seen him in Belfast 2 years ago, he wasntr sounding to bad, but u have to also look at the length and range in his songs!! would kill off a noraml man after a few minutes, and hes not exactly in good shape!

for example give him a jovi set list, give Jon meat loafs set list, see who gives the best performence! lol,

Glad to see Jon get some recognition! Also pleased to have Jon Anderson there, though he is of a very different ilk than most of the others, to say the least.

Grave omissions: Steve Perry of Journey fame (come on!!) and Daniel Gildenlöw from Pain Of Salvation (though I can understand this better as the band is not exactly well-known...)

James Hetfield and Mick Jagger should be nowhere near the top twenty!

sorry guys, but as good as it feels to see JBJ on this list,he surely doesn`t have that big voice! OMG! I just saw Bruce is lower than JBJ! Do I need glasses or?!? shock shock shock! Okay,Freddie definitely deserves 1st place and okay Paul is probably the best voice these days along with Steven...
I just had a heart attack when I saw Steven as 13th...the biggest shock! and where the **** is Eric Burdon?!?! Is this a nightmare?! Wake me up! Now!
