I thought that was very interesting. When I was 15 Bon Jovi's music is what kept me going. Yet, here it is 12, almost 13, years later and they're helping another 15 year old get through tough times. Not every band has that kind of cross-generational impact.

It is interesting Becky, and you're right... I really can't think of any other "older" band that could have had this impact on me. But the messages in the songs are still the same no matter how old the songs are. The message in Prayer is universal and timeless. Same with KTF, IML, etc.

I was a fan in 1983 and now I'm a fan in 2003... so who knew back then that would be the case? I can't predit 20 years from now.. but regardless of where my life takes me, the music (whether its the stuff from now or new stuff produced over the next 20 years) will also hold a special place in my heart... not just the band and the music itself, but what the experience of being a fan of the band and what the songs have meant to me personally... you can't just walk away from that. Even band I may have listened to in my teens that I don't listen to anymore... play a song that captures a moment and brings me back in time and I'm a sucker for it. It's only natural.

Most definitely, I'll still be a fan. My love for the band and their music is too great and it's not showing any signs of slowing down.

I think if Jon turns to acting full time, it will be because Bon Jovi the band has been retired honorably. Jon's first love is music, but he is a natural entertainer. If the rock star chapter of his life is over, then it's only understandable that he move on to some other form of entertainment.

I have successfully turned my niece into a Bon Jovi addict and I am eagerly looking forward to doing the same thing to my own children.

I think so. Their music speaks to me like no other. Even if they will no longer exist as a band I will still listen to their music.

Tico is gonna be almost 70 in 20 years. Can you imagine?

I've not been a fan for as long as some of you, most of you in fact, but I suppose that's hardly my fault. I've been a fan for only about 3 years so far, but I doubt I'll ever listen to anything which is as good as Bon Jovi. I know some people slag off the new albums, but I like them, and most probably still will in the future.
