It absolutely pours out emotion. But a little faster would make it much more enjoyable for me.
I wouldn't compare Love's The Only Rule and Silent Night either because the first one is a midtempo song and the second one a ballad
But I hear you, although I would always choose Love's The Only Rule over Silent Night. But that's a matter of personal preference.
When it comes to (underrated) ballads I think Living In Sin is a much better one than Silent Night.

It just saddens me that the first to albums are like forgotten step children
