In my opinion, while half the album consists of highlights the other half is rather flat.
Blaze Of Glory, Santa Fe, Bang A Drum and Dyin' are real gems to me. Blood Money live, too, but on the album it can't quite develop its power.

Billy Get Your Guns and Never Say Die are nice rockers but to me those are the musical brothers to Sleep (or Blame) and Blood On Blood. Nice to listen to but they don't stand out in the Bon Jovi catalogue.
Miracle doesn't hurt but isn't anything special. I can see why it wasn't a hit.
You Really Got Me is a fun tune like Ride Cowboy Ride - nothing new. And the best part of Justice is the intro but the song itself does nothing for me.
You do realize, your review is like an 8 or 9/10 for most Jovi fans 😂
‘Blood on Blood’ doesn’t stand out? It’s one of Jovi’s signature tunes, like it or not.
Sleep is also another semi-classic, the problem is that it’s over played live. Ride Cowboy Ride is a fan favourite for being raw and pure rock n roll attitude.
So, 5 gems, 3 classics and 2 fillers in your opinion...that’s one fantastic album 😊. I totally agree 👍
