That's probably 'cause you decided early on that you were going to support this album no matter what. But you should know that it's not a bad thing to change your original idea, when presented with something like this.

I'm appalled with the way they've treated the songs. And it's not even experimental, it's just boring. Always as arock version or KTF with a symphony orchestra-backing would be experimental, now it's just a country version of Bad Name and a whole lot of bad singing. They've ruined their own songs, and I never thought that would be possible.

As for the next record, I really hope you're right, but I won't be holding my breath.

well i never support an album just cos its bj...i was hugely looking forward to bounce but it just didnt do much for me. as i said its probs cos of my msuical tastes which is why ive warmed to wot i heard...i happen to think its pretty experimental in places, wanted/bad medicine especially...i personally dont think they ruin the originals, but from wot i heard, only the ballad version of IML seems to be able to hold tussle with the original.

as for the next album, yeah i fully expect them to go back to their usual stuff, i dont have any fears of that.

Too true. Plus Olivia d'Abo sounds like Cartman from South Park.

Default New album

I don't know what you guys were expecting but Bon Jovi promised new versions of old songs and thats what you got, Personally I think it sounds good from what I have heard, and better than them just releasing a straight Greatest Hits collection with a bunch of songs you already own.

hm just a bit confused, BJ.com says those snippets aren`t allowed as the oompas where asked. I mean it`s on the official universal austria homepage or well it was (it`s still on www.news.at under "Leute" but not on universal.at anymore) so how can they pubish something thats not officially allowed?
