There is such an overwhelming amount of live stuff available now. The last thing I need is another version of Bad Name, especially if its anything from 2000 up.

rare unreleased stuff is the way to go

If I never heard Bad Name live again it would be fine by me.

There are some live songs I would like though--Silent Night (Christmas song) and Little Drummer Boy that they did at Count Basie one year for Christmas. I've never heard a really good bootleg of those.

How ironic... I was going to mention those in my last post but didn't becasue they are basically covers. I'd like the entire show from the first two red bank concerts. 90 and 91

I could see them releasing a Slippery When Wet 30th anniversary box set. Include a documentary, a remastered cd (not that we really need that, but it'd have to be included), a cool booklet, and then a bluray of a show from the period (either from the Slippery or NJ tour). I'm not sure if they have enough quality outtakes that weren't previously released on the box set from the era to make another cd, but if they did they could include that too. We have a few years until the anniversary, but I really hope this eventually happens!

They can not release a bluray from concerts eighties, unless this filmed on celluloid.

Live from London (Wembley '95) this filmed on celluloid. They could take a uncut version on bluray, but it will not happen.

Movies dating back to at least the 60s (and prob further to inception) are shot in 4000p so HD is available. In fact, super HD is available.

Yes, in movies shot on celluloid, is correct. But most of the concerts recorded in the eighties and nineties were with professional TV cameras. Its resolution is much lower than HD.

However, Live From London was filmed on celluloid. Therefore, you can get a resolution in HD and 4K.

The image is grainy, it's not a filter, is celluloid, you can even see the movie cameras.

Who really knows what audio and video exists from the 80s.

I think more soundboard audio is available than we think. As far as video goes, that gets a little iffy.

With Alec no longer in the band, I doubt we'll get anything worthy from the 80s, which is a dammm shame.

Wayne Isham may have shot some takes on celluloid film, during the Jersey Sindicate Tour, but not know to what extent we could have high quality material this era.

Access All Areas has some pictures filmed in 16 MM and Super 8. But I don't think these shows was filmed in their entirety.

In my opinion, Jon wanted to make your own style movie Rattle and Hum by U2, but for some reason, the project did not go well.

Anyway, no matter, they just have to go to the archives and restore a big concert by Jersey Sindicate Tour and launch to DVD, like Nirvana with MTV Unplugged or Live at Reading Festival, recorded by Professional TV cameras.

I am sure that Wembley Arena 1988, Milton Keynes 1989, Giant Stadium 1989, Moscow 1989 and Hammersmith Odeon 1990 were recorded at least in professional team of TV cameras.
