Just Jon yelling "take me back to Tokyo Road" would have been much better than the album version intro IMO.
The live version from 1985 doesn't match the version from that song off the 1990 Brazil show. That's one of the best (if not the best version) I've ever heard from that song. 1985 just sounds a bit lame in my opinion.

I wonder if you've ever heard the un-edited version of the OWN album, which has a much longer guitar intro plus it builds better up after the silent part in the middle of the song. That one really is the best live version there is out there in my opinion.

Do you think if Farenheit was recorded differently, it would have improved it?
I don't think so. Only IAAOL and Tokyo Road are the great songs, I've heard soundboard version of almost all the other tracks, and they're just the same songs though played harder. I don't think I would like the album more if it was recorded differently.

Salaam Aleikum,
