I think 7800º is better than Bon Jovi. I like Price of Love. But, in my opinion, it´s not a good album, only a decent album.
you have to remember though i like all the albums pre-1996 as much as the next... i love 7800... but i also love SWW and NJ and KTF and TD... i still think it is the best "rock" album... but certainly not the best recorded...

i don't expect them to do another 7800 instead of crush and bounce - all i know is that this isn't the band i fell in love with (musically)... but i stick around because they are still great guys on stage and i know that live they do play the old songs - and let's admit it who doesn't go to hear the older songs moreso than it's my life, bounce etc

[quote="letitrock"]homebound train is the greatest song the band have recorded from a musicianship point of view... no denying that...quote]

What makes you think that? What do you see in the song?

now I'm ready to post my review of 7800 fahrenheit!
it took me I while and I still don't know all the songs without looking at the backside of the cd box, but...

First track.

In and out of love! great live song... great riff and I do love those lyrics.

Second track.

The price of love (I'd remebered that one!) this song is quite good, it ain't bad any way. the song sounds a bit to much like the 80'.

Third track.

Only lonley, next please...
I don't know how to spell 4, so i will write it with just a simple 4...

4.
silent night! a great track, a real rock track... (I actually fell a sleep to this song last night!) I like the intro and the chorus is one of bon jovis best.

5.
King of the mountain, oooops! I still don't like this song, but i like the solo. the chorus is very strange, don't like it at all! it has no speed, no power.

6.
Tokyo road, now we are taking! really like this song, I don't now what it is, but this song is like magic to me. I sing along (which I NEVER do...),I jump around and played it at least 15 times yesterday!

7.
The hardest part is the night, the best track on the album. great riff, great chorus and a great vocal performance by jon.

8.
always run to you, SUCKS! i don't like jons voice in this one. And when I hear this song I think some pimp driving around in his cadillac!

9. (almost done!)
this song I don't like either! it's to simple,I DON'T WANNA FALL (I DON'T WANNA FALL)
I DON'T WANNA FALL (I DON'T WANNA FALL)
TO THE FIRE
,that ain't great thats just ridiculous...(IMO, I know I will get my ass kicked of me after this post...)

10.
no, no and no! I don't like this! sick lyrics and no great chorus, this is the worst track...

so now I'm done. My conclusion, the second worst album after crush. their is some great tracks and then we have all these really bad songs. I do think I will listen to this album more often after this...

i've said hundreds of times - quite a few in explicit detail... breaking the song down into separate tracks, instrumental parts, vocals, particular drum fills etc

your opinions not going to be changed by me... i'd bash but i'm too tired right now

all i'll say is i can't see how anyone's list would have this album behind Bounce... in some ways i'd say Crush was a better album than Bounce to be honest

but they are both rubbish

I know I shouldn't comment on this, but I'm still gonna do it...

You call saying "You're an idiot" humour? Then you must think that someone saying you're a long-haired gayboy is funny?

Insults are never humour, no matter what you do. If you insult someone, it's not funny. You might think so, but try to think it over from another angle...

It was not.

That is not an opinion, it's an insult. Idiot is someone with an IQ under 40, and unless you have fact knowledge that some really is an idiot, it's an insult and is to be treated as such.

Musicaly 7800 fahrenheit beats bounce with miles! but the lyrics... they aren't that good! I don't say that bounce has good lyrics, but they are better... NOT all the songs for example, everyday, misunderstood and all those songs, but RSOWR and the distance have great lyrics!
And I like those wannabe hard rock riffs!
I don't like much on crush, there are some songs that are great, but the most is, as you sad, are rubbish!

Once again Ice, you prove yourself devoid of a sence of humouur, and take everything in a very litteral way....

I dont think the person I called an idiot treated it this way... if he didn't see it as an insult, why is everybody else getting insulted by it!!!!!

I used the word idiot not by the litteral deffinition, but by the more widely used, or apreciated deffinition, meaning fool, stupid e.t.c. Surely you realise this.....

Yes I do, if the context is funny. I'm more than able to laugh at myself, and I'm secure enough in my sexuality that being called gay isn't a big deal, I know I'm straight, and it's only people who are really insecure, and probably repressed homosexuals who would be offended... Ice?????

Again, I don't think he took it personally. I do think it's funny, and I do think that insulting people can be funny. If he'd have taken it very personally, and been deeply offended, it would have been funny because he'd have taken it the wrong way, blown it completely out of proportion, and show a lack of humour.... which is quite funny. The fact that it was taken well, wasn't taken seriously, and at least a few people found it funny, or at least not offensive, shows that I wasn't insulting people, and it was funny.

hmm, let me have another go..... ""I thought it was funny"

My opinion, my sence of humour. If you don't like it, or didn't get it, or didn't find it funny, fine. I'm just going to chalk it down to your obvious lack of a sence of humour, which I've come to expect from you,

Are you trying to be funny again or are you insulting me? Either way, I don't need to prove anything to you. I´m the one who goes to bed with a beautiful woman every night.

Here we go again. Can you write A post without an insult, or is that something completely out of your league?
