In the US, not outside of it - the opposite. Bon Jovi had probably there most cool era in the 90's - also on MTV.
That the US didn't get it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Always was their biggest selling single ever!!
I really don't get why the band see the 90's as a low point in the bands carrer, specifically when talking about These Days, TAALS is a song that has been covered by so many latin acts it's not even funny, it even crossed language barriers, the band achieved so much during the 90's, why they fail to see it is beyond me.

dunno about you lot, but i became acquainted with bon jovi with the these days album. more than keep the faith, these days is an amazing rock n roll album. the themes are melancholic, pitiful and gloomy but there's a beauty about it that I cannot express in words.

Yeah, hence my nick name.

anyway, even if people in general dont like BJ in the 90's, don't forget that the these days tour was one of the biggest if not the biggest ever.

thats all i gotta say

I've never actually heard the band refer to the nineties as a low point. Usually, I've heard Jon refer to the "low point" as the Post-Jersey/Pre-Faith era. That being said, it is horrid how the band seems to ignore (for the most part) that period.
