Default A more relaxed Jon

One thing I’ve noticed watching a lot of the interviews with Jon for 2020 is how more relaxed and happier he is from previous years.
Maybe the fact he can do them from home without all of the travelling puts him in a better mood, but he certainly comes across as a more likeable person. Not that I didn’t like him before but there were times he came across a bit up himself and made it clear he would rather be somewhere else!

I said the same thing to my husband tonight after watching some interviews. I have followed the band since the SWW days and this is the most chilled I have ever seen him.

Yeah, I mentioned this the other day too. I think, as you mentioned, he doesn't have to travel. He can just get through them all in a few hours from his home.

Agreed. I also think he is generally more confident on where he and band are at this point.
There was a bit of insecurity with THINFS on how the audience is going to accept the 'new band' without Richie. And there were also struggles with his voice.

I think he re-invented himself. And one thing you can notice is his singing technique that's changed now. He mentioned more than once in his recent interviews that he is taking vocal classes every day.
It's never coming back to where it was, but he is finding his comfort level again.

I'm convinced the lack of travel is having a positive effect in this respect. He also appears generally content and dare I say proud of the music he's created, regardless of whether or not it sells.
