First of all, NO ONE knows what the true deal is. NO ONE knows if they had somesort of a relationship, and Obie did not know the true age of the girl. I voted for the second one. Obie didn't rape her (at least nothing like this stood in the article) and first of all, this doesn't make the music of BJ less good. Obie is not a bandmember but just an employer of Jon. And he is not the only one who has fun with groupies. That's the reason why some Crew-members of BJ won't be here in Europe this time. Things like that happened too often.

A 15 year old young woman is no child anymore and she for sure isn't the only 15 year old young woman who has sex.

I agree with you about the fact a 15 year old young woman is not a child...may be she looks older..may be she is a real slut..but Sambo-chris..why are you talking about crew-members..do you have some funnies stories to tell us about the last tour

I want some names !!..anyway I don't think this is the 'main 'reason'...the status of crew member is now over..so..

If you have been in the Pit in 2001 you could see it by yourself. One girl (okay meanwhile she's older than 15 but 18 or something) was very busy with the camera guy. At every concert. It wasn't a real nice view even though you still could learn something LOL.

I personally have never like Obie like everyone else has, but thats beside the point. It doesnt matter to anyone except the legal system that she was 16, because we probably all agree she passed herself off as being of legal age. But I think its sick whether she was 16 or 18 that Obie put himself in that position, knowing there was probably nothing there except she wanted someone that would get her closer to the band. Obie was obviously that someone and he bit the apple. It is unfortunate that he will have to pay for that mistake. I think it will be interesting how the band handles it, because this ultimately will reflect on the band if she was a groupie.
