That Living In Sin single doesn't pop up on eBay all that often, but it is worth setting up a watch for it. It also has Love Is War and a live Blood On Blood (from 1989).

i'm guessing the uk got a different version ? i'm looking at the living in sin single on ebay at the moment and the tracklisting is ...

1. Living in sin
2. Love is war
3. Ride cowboy ride
4. Stick to your guns

The one I have is a Japanese release -

It is available on eBay as a "Buy It Now" item, although rather pricey.

If you watch for awhile, you should be able to do better than that.

I almost bid on the UK one you mention awhile back, but I'm pretty sure that Ride Cowboy Ride isn't a live version. I'd have gotten it if that song had been live. (I'm pretty sure they've never officially released a live version. If I'm wrong, someone PLEASE tell me!)

Just to clarify, it's not that I think the acoustic version is bad.
I just think the version on NJ is better, and is a better fit to the lyrics.

That's pretty much what I think too.
It's one of my favorites too, I've always thought it had more in common with I'd die for you, but yeah it does have a prayer feel to it.

I have a thing for the TLFR version. At one point I probably would've said it was my favourite of the 3.

Even though the TLFR rendition is light years behind the original and acoustic versions, it's actually one of the few tracks that I don't mind off that album.

This is REALLY embarassing to admit but...the TLFR version is my favorite of the three . I'm a total sucker for songs in 3/4 timing. The acoustic version is a close second though. I'm not crazy about the original weirdly enough.

I agree--I think BTBMB and IDFY are very smiliar.

Yeah, there's a definite similarity between the riffs, and indeed most of the things between LOAP and BTBMB. Doesn't stop them both being great songs!

I like the TLFR version, it's one of about half the songs on TLFR that attempts to do anything interesting with the reworking. I don't like it as much as the other two versions, but it's still decent. Love the humming, and when the drums kick in!
