About Matt.

I think we can all agree that the only clarity to come out of this fiasco so far (the fiasco being both the disappearance of Richie and the tour itself) is that Matt Bongiovi is indeed the scum bag we all thought he was. Unfortunately his attitude towards certain questions (i.e. Richie) probably says just as much about his brother as it does him.

I think that whatever good or bad opinion you might hold about Matt, it highlights the fact that
1. Bon Jovi/Jon/JBJ Management, et al is crap at having a social media presence.
2. When everyone around Bon Jovi is being queried/harassed by fans of the band, Jon & Richie need to man up and say something official.

I personally have no problem with whatever Matt tweets as he is in a lose/lose position. He is not a PR person but is one of a very, very few who will respond to questions from the fans. I have no problem with him being a part of the Bon Jovi staff; it has been that way for several tours. I think he passed along Jon's wishes about the signs and took the heat when it should have been Jon or JBJ Management in the first place that released the request for no signs and the reason why. Jon himself barely posted a Tweet or Facebook message during The Circle tour and he isn't using it at all this tour. Fans today want contact and information and they are not getting it from Jon= FAIL.

I blame Jon for this. He has long resisted the digital age, so I don't think he realizes the importance or the power of it.

His tweets are usually nonsensical gibberish, but if Steven Tyler can do it, there is no reason Jon can't.

**** Matt and **** Jon and his friends. They have become the new Guns N Roses.

I think we make too much out of Matt here. He's a guy who works with his brother, who probably gets GOD knows how many crazy, attention whore type posts, in addition to the ones legitimately seeking info, which still must be an ungodly number. For better or worse, he's in a position to take the piss out of the fans who feel the need to be super obsessive/clingy/rude. I'd probably do this too.
Today, I sent him a good natured tweet that said:

"Sir, I understand you are also responsible for daylight savings, Snooki, El Niño, and Godfather 3
#forshame

He responded "aahhh! Love it!"

I'm happy to communicate with anybody in the Jovi camp, because I realize that's what they are "in the camp." Not thee who hath been committed to writing the history of the band for all posterity.

I think Matt just enjoys the attention. As for people harassing him I have my doubts that he is getting that many tweets put to him. Its the same few fans and most of them are kissing his ass.

If he doesn't want to read annoying questions then don't hit the @ button to see them. He could just choose to read tweets from the 200 people he has chosen to follow.

Sorry but the fiasco we are talking about is not even a how to on using social media to ruin your life. Google Amy's Baking Company for that.

This is a Social Media 101 - how to be a big fish who thinks social media sucks. Their problem is they pretty much do not use it, not that they don't do it well.

Looks like you're one of them. I mean, what other purpose would you tweet a kiss ass comment like that to him other than for his attention?

Really, pal? Exactly what part of that comment was kiss ass? It's a play on the fact that people seem to thin he's the antichrist incarnate. That's my sense of humor. And I don't know Ava, but I know schools ending for everyone. I respond to what I read.

Just because I don't feel the need to dissect every goddamn time someone "likes" something on Facebook doesn't make my opinion less valid.
I may be a twitter whore, but I own it.

Also, if I had a desire to get a life, I wouldn't be here. Actually got excited when my status changed from "Breakout" to "Runaway."
