The orginal album cover was just the girls chest with the Slippery When Wet tshirt. The record company put a pink border around it for the Japanese release. The band didn't like it and wanted it changed. Plus, the conservative US wouldn't allow that album cover to be released. They had done an entire photo shoot with a Wanted Dead or Alive theme to it too. But, they didn't like that. Finally, while in a strip club they frequented while recording the album, Jon wrote the title out on a wet garbage bag....and the rest is music history. That's how I always remembered it at least.
