Slippery is 44 min. So not a very long album but still long enough. IMO it would be much better that they have worked 10 songs together that really rocks, then 14 songs which only 7 is worth listening! I also thinks that the guys are taking there time with it, why should they do it in a hurry?
Really great with the Richie solo stuff, can't wait till the next album from him aswell...

You're welcome Chris. I have to give credit where it's due though, the info came from Backstage. I know a most hated place around here but it does have good info sometimes. As for the new record I don't see that it's a rush job at all. They've been working on it since last summer so 10 or 11 months altogether by the time it comes out..... that's as long as most BJ records take.

Crush came out in May 2000, and they started touring in June. They came to Europe at the middle of August so if thats anything to go by, hopefully we will see them this summer!!

That's 10 tracks including Last Man Standing right?

So only 9 new songs. Getting close to a bonus CD without the CD.

Anyway, it might rock.

If Bounce had 20 songs would it make it any better? Sure it seems quite short but without having listened to the songs we can't really conjecture. I prefer having 10 outstanding songs than 18 middling ones, to be honest.

Last Man Standing is apparently an entirely different version and is supposed to be lot more aggressive on this new album.. So basically its safe to assume its a much more rocking version of the song..

Ten songs does sound a little short but i'd say this could be a good sign towards the quality of the songs we are getting... On both Bounce and Crush, there are two songs I could quite easily do without and would probably like those albums more if those song wern't on there. I think this could mean we'll get a more solid, more focussed album this time and I bet this album will probably very hard rocking... especially for a Bon Jovi album... Jon has said this whole album rocks big (hopefully we'll see a few slower tracks though), that we are going to be surprised and that this is the most upbeat Jovi album yet...

The only real dissapointment from what Richie said is the May release... 4 months!!!!!! .........sh#t!

sorry, my bounce is this:

Undivided
standing
hook me up
alive
everyday
the distance
No regrets
bounce
another reason to believe
love me back to life
right side of wrong

i'm very pleased with it. With the rest you are right. I think we'll get 10 new songs with the record and 10 with the singles. If you want, make your rock record out of it or your slow. All these bad expectations, terrible. You'll never get SWW part II or These Days part II. And if, probably you'll not recognize it with first listening and put it on your shelf.
Why do a lot of people think, that they did the new record in a hurry? It isn't complete yet. Until may they will have worked about a year on it. Really fast, isn't it? How long did it take to make SWW, keep the faith or New jersey (my favourite) ?

relax and listen first

the thing is that the band said before the release of crush and bounce that they were "great, big loud rock records"- we know what came out... let's hope it kicks some ass- i want some ROCK again

What about U2 "HTDAA" it have 11 tracks, and a great record (the world think). So maybe it's also a trick to win some new fans with a shorter record, then most people would be able to hear all the songs, which you are not with a 1½ hour record.
