sorry, my bounce is this:

alive

No regrets

another reason to believe
love me back to life

i'm very pleased with it. With the rest you are right. I think we'll get 10 new songs with the record and 10 with the singles. If you want, make your rock record out of it or your slow. All these bad expectations, terrible. You'll never get SWW part II or These Days part II. And if, probably you'll not recognize it with first listening and put it on your shelf.
Why do a lot of people think, that they did the new record in a hurry? It isn't complete yet. Until may they will have worked about a year on it. Really fast, isn't it? How long did it take to make SWW, keep the faith or New jersey (my favourite) ?

relax and listen first
I didn't mean that Bounce had 10 songs, but despite the number of songs, most of them are quite bad.

I think bad expectations may be better in the long run. If the album turns out to be good then people will be much more pleased about it. On the other hand if people keep their expectations high and the album doesn't stand up to them people will feel disappointed. Me, at the momento have no expectations, good or bad. I'm just waiting and I'll see

The fact that you need to make your own version of Bounce to make you able to enjoy it more says that you don't like Bounce because it contains to many shitty songs!

During SWW and Jersey they were at their creative peaks when it comes to writing good songs which is why they didn't need that long to record it. During KTF they wanted to prove the world they were back which is why they were able to come up with such a strong record.

The last 2 albums had no direction, with the minor exception for Crush being the "happy sappy party" album...

HTDAAB isn't a bad record, but I think only 6 (maybe 7) songs are any good. I hope Bon Jovi don't do this. There's 4 months for them to really work these 10 songs, even if they say 7 are completed and ready, there's always room to improve.

This seems to be Bon Jovi's problem... trying to impress new fans with 'pop' driven records. I don't want this again.

Crush came out in May 2000, and they started touring in June. They came to Europe at the middle of August so if thats anything to go by, hopefully we will see them this summer!!
May is such a long wait! Hopefully when they tour Australia, they dont screw us over with a 45 minute concert! The last two tours they have pulled this on us! I dont know if it was all over Australia, but i know they did it when they played in Melbourne.[/quote]

Didn't the oompas say a while ago that for this record they only wrote the songs that were going to be on the record, that they didn't write and demo 50 or 60 songs like the did with Bounce or Crush?

I hope this doesn't mean that they could only come up with 10 half-way decent songs.

This means no b-sides then. Just to say they haven't gone over the top with the amount of demos, doesn't mean they've only written 10, I'm sure.
