I hope the organisers now realise that their gate receipts will drop by a half.

The show wasn't for Jon's team, it was for a team in New York.
maybe Jon decided that he couldnt do the gig as his own team wouldnt appreciate it ?

Exactly how is this Jons fault?
Seems to me it is the venue that caused the problem, if in fact this is even the real reason.

At least it shows that you have to like sport for sportreasons, not because some rockstars own a footballclub. It just doesn`t fit together.
Jon should finally decide what he is..a rocker or a teamowner..but not both interfering with another.
If he wants to do the sportthing, ok...no gigsfor the team...If he wants to rock, ok( more then ok) but no frontrow for his team. That makes sense

First this wasn't for "his" team. Second, ok so you say BJ shouldn't perform anywhere other then full blown rock concerts?
No benefits?
I am sorry, but I just do not see where this interferes with tours. It isn't even tour time right now.

I think Inge means that they should seperate their sports activities and their band activities. And I agree with that. It's fine that they want to own a football team, but don't combine the sports world with your band! It's a bit comparable with separating your work life and your private life. The sports thing is a hobby, not a living. The band is (officially) a living. They earn their money with the band.

And that has nothing to do with benefit shows. It's good to do some charity. But it is even better to tour hehehe

Ok gotcha.
I personally don't have a problem with them playing as a perk from time to time with Jon's team (and NO I didn't go to the pep rally). I didn't agree with the whole Conquest thing from day one though.

Yes Plien that`s what I ment.
And because lots of Bon Jovi fans suddenly turned into footballfans, going to every game just to catch a glimse of Jon, and then he even does a show for footballfanatics. `
I think it should be seperated.
