I get that, but at the same time just because something is an opinion doesn't exempt you from criticism. If the thread was "What's your favorite movie of all time?" and I put "Cats" near the top of my list, you could question if I was being serious, and if I insisted I was then you could make a joke about me having bad taste in movies.

I think it does because the word "opinion" was used. If Cats made you feel something the others didn't, so what? I hold really special memories of Bounce because I was in High School and I camped out for concert tickets and I listened to it over and over and I got copies of it for friends on their birthday whether they asked or not. I'd rank it higher than a lot of pre-2000 fans would and I fully acknowledge it's one of the weaker ones but it's still up there for me because I found the band through it.

It's cheesy but we should be cherishing there are still people responding to new material and keeping the band alive instead of making them feel like shit over it I guess.

Absolutely. There has to be some degree of rationality.

When it comes to what makes you feel feelings rationality goes out the window.

Last call to rank the albums for those who haven't done it yet. I'll count and announce the results in a couple of days.

I said "some degree of rationality", where we can agree [most of us] e.g "Wanted Dead or Alive" is a better composed song than "Save the world". If we can't, then there's no point in a conversation where your feelings ALONE dictate how the world works. If your feelings inform you that the earth is flat rather than an oblate spheroid, then we can't really have informed opinions on geology & topography, can we? I'm all for feelings, but there has to be a balance. Anyway, not saying its wrong or anything, just agreeing that's its odd if someone has ranked WAN over SWW, KTF & NJ. Laughable.
