dry county is emotive and fits the purpose perfectly but it's basically just scales and really doesn't do much to drag richie away from 'box player' tag.
i think dry county is so overrated and it isnt one of his good works, and richie himself never mention it among his best guitar works.

Interesting that 'These Days' and 'KTF' are very clear winners (interesting, if not that surprising'...and also that 3 people voted for Bounce....which I find very curious. More so that they failed to explain their choice here.

These Days for me...not my favourite album (that would still be New Jersey) but it does contain Mr Samboras best work.

There's some cracking stuff on 7800, probably the only thing that saves the album. Only Lonely/Hardest Part...great solos/riffs

There's a lot of variety on These Days in the kind of instruments (guitar, sitar, etc) that Richie plays. It does tend to have some good guitar moments, but I think KTF is supreme when it comes to guitar. The title track, along with Dry County and even Bed of Roses have some great guitar moments.

No matter what u ask, people who vote for T.D always vote for T.D.

it has nothing to do with the album being better or worse in matter discussed, T.D. people always seem to stick with T.D.

just an observation no intentions to start an argument about it.
