SWW has its merits but how can you compete with the temperature at which rock melts (is that true by the way?)
I made a search and...acording to this site, not that much.... http://volcano.und.nodak.edu/vwdocs/...estion256.html

The lava coming out of a Hawaiian volcano usually has a temperature around 1150-1170 degrees centigrade. That is more than 2200 degrees farenheit! The lava very quickly develops a skin of cooler lava that is "only" about 800 degrees centigrade.

GALILEO SPACECRAFT SEES VOLCANIC FIREWORKS ON JUPITER'S MOON IO

Temperatures this high are not known to have occurred on Earth for billions of years. At one such volcanic vent, known as Pillan Patera, two of Galileo's instruments have indicated the lava temperature may be 2,000 Kelvin (3,140 degrees Fahrenheit).

What I remember hearing is that when they were recording the album they were living it up in Vancouver. One night they were in some bar with these girls mudwrestling and their manager (can't remember his name)says to Jon, how about calling the album Slippery When Wet?? Jon was so engrossed in watching these girls that he said okay and the rest is history!!
I think this is the story...

Tash
Thank you very much! Know that I saw that, it does sound familiar.
Are you from west Indies?.

They were soaping each other actually Funny how I remember that, isn't it? Also, they saw a road sign saying SWW before they got to the strip club

Keep On Rockin'
And didn't they go back to NJ to discuss the album cover and Jon write Slippery When Wet on a dustbin lid or bin liner or something that's where the cover is from?

It was a plastic garbage bag. They sprayed water on it and Jon wrote Slippery When Wet on it with his finger.

Wouldn't it then be slightly unoriginal
