Sorry Stone-Deaf but there are 2 albums I can't say one is better than the other.
NEW JERSESY - easily the best hard rock record to be released in the 80s. And I was an Aerosmith and AC/DC fan before I got into BJ so that's pretty strong. I won't start explaining why. It's just the best.

And the other is THESE DAYS. It's just music. You listen and you say wow! It's not only because of the dark lyrics but also because the sound of it. It is powerfull sometime- i mean it includes their heaviset song HeyGod - but also their most soft and tender LETTING GO or DIamond Ring. The vocals are some of the best.etc. etc etc...
I used to say in the past that it's a great record but it's not Bon Jovi. somebody, i think on this board, asked What is it then?! So right...If you take it this way SWW wouldn't be a BJ reocrd either. Keep The Faith wouldn't be a BJ record either...etc etc...

Even if I haven;t listened to either of those for months now, I still feel I couldn't live without any of these 2 records.

These Days... for all the above reasons people have said. Melodys, Lyrics, The general mood etc. But specifically the lyrics in this album are far greater then any other album i belive. KTF is very close in terms of lyrics.

I love KTF and NJ just because I love the songs and great guitars just great albums.

but at the moment I prefer TD. Yesterday I listend to it 3 times in a raw. just toooo great couldn`t stop. it`s great as a whole not just single songs.

I'm a KTF fan!

Its just an awesome rock record....& in my opinion Classic Bon Jovi!

In terms of why I chose this album, it was defenitely not through lack of options because I reckon that New Jersey is also right up there challenging it followed by Slippery when Wet!

But KTF just has so many hits (I believe, KTF, sleep when i'm dead, in these arms, bed of roses), and even the "filler tracks" are good too (i.e. blame it on the love of Rock & roll, women in love, little bit of soul)...so I just can't go past this album!!

Let the roast begin...

BOUNCE

The first album i was really pumped for, waited till the day it came out and waited outside the store to go buy, i bought Crush well after the fact, and any other albums i bought were because i had already heard them from a friend.

Bounce was the only record where i was along for the whole ride, it isnt their best, not always my favourite musically, but its important to me as a fan.

Definitely KTF for me. I absolutely love that CD. There isn't a bad song on that CD in my opinion. "Dry County" actually gives me chills with Richie's solo and Jon's voice, I absolutely love that song. That's the only one I must have in my CD changer. KTF is such a part of me, I can't explain it. It's a mature CD to me.

Cool Thread! Very interesting to see what other people think.
