Aldo Nova possible collaboration with JBJ
In this month's Classic Rock, there's a section called Where Are They Now? This week it features Aldo Nova. I'll pick out the relevant bits.
"Right now I'm writing with Desmond Child," he tells Classic Rock. "These aren't for any special project, we'll see what happens."
But don't rule out a further collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi. Apart from the 'Bon Jovi' album, Aldo was also involved with the JBJ solo records 'Young Guns II: Blaze Of Glory' (1990) and 'Destination Anywhere' (1997). And the two musicians have been taking music seriously again.
"Jon's taking a break, so nothing will develop now," Aldo says. "But it is a strong consideration". However, Nova has no interest in another solo record, although he certainly isn't embarrassed by his past.
It also mentions Aldo's 'Blood On Bricks' 1991, which was released on Jon Bon Jovi's ill-fated Jambco label For Jon it was a case of repaying a debt, as Nova had helped him on Bon Jovi's self-titled album in 1984.
