What is this place's deal with tabloid-tier assumptions about the medical situation of people based on unprofessional photographs? He looks fine for 70.

Lets keep this respectful. I feel the same as @bonjovi90. He was 70 and living the life. Of course for the public appearance in 2018 the guy was tip-topped. Here just a regular guy.

This. I fail to see how one single normal-looking picture of an older guy who's barely been seen in public at all over the past two decades could provide you with enough information to assume that he's "still on the juice".

Comparing it to a couple other pictures, I'd say it's him. The face is broader but the features and hairline look the same.

Seriously? What a disrespectful post and a ridiculous assumption to make on one picture of a guys that was 70 years old. When you get to that age you can have all sorts to health issues that can change your appearance significantly. I'm pretty sure that is Alec and he looks a little different, but fine for his age.

I was on holiday in Corfu, Greece the night I heard the news. The next day we had hired a boat to go around the coast in. I took my bluetooth speaker and blasted out Live tracks from the Such era - it felt like a great way to pay tribute to the guy. I always though that he had the ultimate rock star attitude! So sad he's gone. I always thought that when Bon Jovi took there final bows, if they ever did a last show, Alec would be there with them. RIP Alec.

There's some more information on the German Rolling Stone website:
Apparently, at around 2:15am, Alec woke up and went to the bathroom, not feeling well. He called up a friend who lived nearby and who came over to help him get back into bed. When that friend checked in with Alec some time later to see if he was alright, he had stopped breathing. An ambulance was called immediately, but couldn't help him anymore.

My heart sank when I saw Jon's Instagram post about Alec's death a few days ago. Such sad news. I am so happy he got to share the stage with the band one last time at the RRHOF. He seemed so genuinely grateful for their years together and to be there that night.
