Rdkopper...you really have to take a chill pill. You are so funny to even say the most valuable new person is..just cracks me up. Who cares if you think is valuble or you dont...Firstly I could tell you a lot more things but based on how you handle any information is scary. I mean does it make you mad that I've had some experience that you as the greatest fan didn't have? I am not the greatest fan.....you know that people may say one thing at one time and feelings may change at another point. You cant research what someone says in a moment and say...look they said this at this time so it was always that way. Just like you can't say I watched a video and everyone seemed so close they must have been at that time..they set these things up to look a certain way.

Haha... Bro, take my posts with a grain of salt. I'm past the point of sarcasm on here. 95% of the members here are outside the US and don't share or understand the same sarcasm as someone from Jersey so I just keep going with the reputation that I developed early on.

Overall, it's not a bad board though. One thing they don't do here is dig into the song writing or search for unreleased material which I'm really big into.

Anyway, Welcome! It's all good! You could tell your stories although I'm from the area too and know a lot of guys who run in that same circle so I think I've heard them all.

BTY, Do you know anything about Jon's involvement with Skid Row? Did Jon ghost-write 18 and Life?

Yea...I know he knows sabastan well and helped them but I don't know if he helped write the song...thinking about it I could hear an influence of John in the song..I thought it was just the jersey sound type of thing. Where abouts are u from..don't have to say the town but the area..I've meet those guys in the clubs as well...u know the band trickster? They had a brief MTV video and a moment of fame.

Wow I haven't seen them in years..I used to play in a band that played with them at a few shows down the shore...back in the day when baby-o's was a major hot spot and fossie could be seen on a regular basis...lol...funny times...I think they were still playing shows back then...I know I went to see them play I think it was like 98 but my mind is shot from years of late nights and heavy partying..

Yea..didn't Jon or Richie help them out as far as a record contract?..the thing is as soon as grunge came on the scene MTV changed and no one had a chance. ..but I did love the whole sound and was happy for music again at that time.

I don't think Jon or Richie were involved with them.

You're right, they broke too late and didn't have a chance once grunge became big in '92... I miss it all too.

They played some small bar in Linden a fee years back. 8 to 10 years ago now. I don't know what members were there.

I just saw Don Doken a year ago. The dude got old and fat.

I'm pretty sure that skid row got help from those guys..it might be something that I thought at the time without any merit but I remember thinking that from things i had heard i kind of remember that bon jovi were bring groups up up from the club scene ..we played only covers and had like one developed song so it wasn't going to help us ..
