Yeah..I like the band and I'm sure u can tell me dates and times of things that happened. None of this I'm looking up just remembering from back then. I'm not sure what was inconsistent but yeah could be. I am just remembering the conversations that were a long time ago. The time that I talked to Alec and he said that they were recording was at someone's house with a few people there. I didn't mention the great adventure show. The thing I said was the video they recorded on seaside heights boardwalk at the small pavilion in the center of the boardwalk. Someone posted it was in and out of love.

Thank you for your stories. It's interesting to hear from someone who knew the band in the early days.

According to the history I remember, Richie and Alec played in a band together before Bon Jovi and Alec is the one told Richie to check out Jon's band. I thought the band was Phantom's Opera, but according to this, it was Message. So I do find it difficult to believe that Richie "took the playing to another level" that Alec couldn't handle since they had played together before and, apparently, well enough that Alec thought Richie would be a good addition to Jon's band.

Also one of the sticking points of the deal Jon made with the record company was that he got to keep Alec. They wanted Alec replaced because he was "too old." As a concession, they lied about Alec and Tico's actual ages in the early bios.

I thought this was inconsistent, unless I misunderstood your writing. You were talking about the In and Out Of Love video shoot at the Seaside Heights Small Pavilion and said something about Richie not being able to kick Alec out because Richie was a new member. Bon Jovi was already established by then so Richie wasn't a new member. In and Out Of Love was on their second album.

BTY, I wasn't saying that Richie should have kicked him out. I was saying that if he was that much of a problem so early on, it was easier for them to get rid of him and make a collective decision. They were young and not even famous yet. If there was another guy playing the Bass Players bass parts by the second album and causing that much tension within the band, it was much easier for them to kick him out.

Jon had no problem picking Richie over his friend Dave Sabo, so I don't think him give Alec the boot so early on wouldn't have been an issue for him.

As far as what happened at the recording of the video at seaside heights I also mentioned that when Alec disappeared that the band was joking calling for him asking if anyone saw him and everyone was joking except Richie who's face you could read from a mile away. He was pissed. Also I'm not sure what was inconsistent with anything but I guess u have to ask if the inconsistency is with what you thought or with what I'm saying. If it's with what u thought then I am telling you new information.

You were referring to Richie as a new member on their second album.

Ah...I see what u mean...yeah that was my own thoughts on the matter.. just a speculation..I don't know why they tolerated the situation for so long. I read on here somewhere about the record company wanting someone to get liposuction and that was also true. I thought it was Alec bbut maybe I got it wrong. I don't know if it was the record company wanted to keep Alec because of the imagine or because of Alec playing with John for so long...but I know even at that time of it was up to Richie he would have been gone. Again as mentioned about John going to the funeral and being a nice guy I like to think it was because John was friends with him

Also don't get me wrong I don't know every intimate thing about the band...I just know people that know them and have been around to talk to Alec and some of the guys behind the scenes

Those kind of things are almost always staged-like Courtney Cox in Bruce Springsteen's video. She was definitely not a random audience member.
