Default Alec John Such should play with bon jovi at the hall of fame

This is no disrespect to bon jovi or hugh mcdonald. I have been a bon jovi fan since I was 8 years old in 1988. I even had the chance to meet Alec one time. He is a great guy. I grew up listening to those 5 guys. I was very sad when alec left. BON JOVI showed true character by not replacing him. I continue to be a fan. At the rock n roll hall of fame they should play together with alec. Lets face it ALEC JOHN SUCH is part of bon jovi's history. He played on the first 5 albums and tour. He was in the videos we can't ignore ALEC like maybe some of you have. When I saw BON JOVI play Camden, NJ on one song with ALEC I thought I was in heaven the whole place just went wild. BON JOVI thank you for bringing him out. We want more maybe a tour with him. My 4 favorite bands don't have replacement bass players the stones, creed, metallica, and bon jovi.

Welcome to the boards!!! Well, I agree... If they do a hall of fame show, Alec should step on stage for the older songs that he knows.... Good job at pointing that out...

Ryan

Default Hmm...

Have you ever thought that maybe Alec doesn't want to be part of it anymore? He made one sort of a special appearance last year, but don't expect him to start playing with the band even if it was just a couple of songs on occasion.

The 'old days' aren't coming back you know.

Well, why do you think he left..... I am sure a guest appearnance would not mean any harm... I wonder if Hue and Alec have a sort of rivalry...

Ryan

Alec didn't leave. He was kicked out of the band. I agree that he should be recognized for his part in Bon Jovi's success.

M. could be right...maybe Alec is happy with his life now and doesn't want to come back. I guess the only one who really knows the answer to that is Alec...

KTF!

Jon has said on multiple occassions that if they ever do get inducted, he can't imagine it without Alec being there. So, it would appear that it will be up to Alec if the time ever comes.

I agree that it'd be better to have the original line up in the Hall Of Fame, that's not to say that Hugh doesn't deserve a mention, he's been a massive part of the band but he isn't well known as being Bon Jovi bassist like Alec, so Alec should be there. What have other bands in this position done?
