He did not appear at the Christmas shows in 1994. Those were the first concerts with Hugh. Alec did some press stuff for Cross Road in Europe. Cross Road was released on 10-17-94 in the States. (my friend Kelly's birthday is how I remember) However, by November, Hugh was playing with the band on American television appearances and it was pretty much with the release of CR that the news broke. It was when Jon and Richie were on Rockline that they let it be known for sure.

I think it was from the middle to the end, I cant remember, just remember thinking when I watched it Jon gave Alec some Im not happy with looks.
