why's that?
I have no respect for him. Just how he dealt with everything publicly after he was 'fired' from the group, as if he were trying to make the rest of the band seem evil to the public eye.

...And Huey rocks
and he dealt with that how exactly?

if i was him i'd be angry too

fair enough if his drinking/drugs got in the way of the band that's a good reason, but it seems to me they've completely turned their backs on him since even though he obviously needed their help

in interviews jon says he hasn't heard from him in a long time (this was before Giants)

he went against everything that 'the jersey syndicate' was about-he went and sold a story to a magazine about how he felt....plus if you're in a band that big and profitable it doesn't pay to f**k up when you're performing as he had started doing....he signed his own resignation letter in a way. he moved away from the band they didn't move away from him

yes i've seen that documentary also

but that's not the EXACT way it happened

ever notice how Alec didn't have his say (admittadly his choice to refuse) but it's just a one-sided documentary...

nice to have some of the live footage in there but it didn't really tell us anything new

yeh i liked the acoustic never say godbye that was on the vid and the stuff from the moscow peace festival....but yet again a fairly one sided viewpoint....i'd love to see a critical show on VH1....but it won't happen. i think the main question is if alec wouldn't have sold his story would he still be in the band? it should be all about the music but i'm sure in this case it wasn't

If Alec had a good reason for doing what he did, he wouldn't have declined to be interviewed for VH1. he could've explained everything there, and get it all cleared up - but it seems he didn't have anything to say. He could've easily added his side to the whole thing, but he declined. It's his fault if this is one-side.

Where's that amazing picture of him nowadays? The one where he looks like Super Mario? I was looking for it and can't find it anywhere...but trust me, it is magnificent
