I remember an article in Kerrang once where Alec said he had lied a lot for Jon .Maybe this had something to do with his departure..In Australia in 93 I was staying at the same hotel as the band and Alec would depart early in the day on a motorbike and not return until it was showtime..When the band left the hotel to go to a different city Alec was not with them.They were saying "Where's Alec".They left without him.
