As if, lol. Ronan hasn't has a hit in ages. I doubt he even knows Jon personally - and can you see him dialing up Jon and asking him if one of his singers can sing one of JBJ's songs?

Tug tug, Ronan.

Obviously I wouldn't know if he did or didn't, but Ronan wouldn't actually have to know Jon personally to contact him y'know. They have people. Just sayin'.

The other thread's turned into a bit of a bitchfest about TV talent contests and a certain Irish singer (my fault for putting his name in the topic title instead of something more relevant)..... so just in case anyone on this Bon Jovi forum was actually interested in checking out someone's covers of Bon Jovi songs (or JBJ in this case), I'll put Altiyan's Blaze of Glory performance here.

(Performance only)

(intro package with Robin Gibb from the Bee Gees guest mentoring, and judges comments at the end)

i checked his prayer performance and hummm,i'm not a big fan of his voice, he doesn't have a high voice range, although he sings on key. but then, i'm only judging it on this performance alone. i understand why you weren't expecting too much out of it. it was a good performance overall and i agree he could hit the high notes somewhat comfortably.

i'm quite surprised with the arrangement. generally i hate the arrangements they come up with at this type of shows, but i really enjoyed this one.

Tug tug, Ronan.
In the 2dayfm interview, Kyle said that Ronan got permission from Bon Jovi management to use the song and Jon seemed to know because he said for LOAP and so he seemed to know about it. Then Jon said to Kyle say hi to Ronan for me because they know each other.
