It's different for awards shows, though. I just find it interesting how the actual awards will start at 5 local time because they are live from Los Angeles.

I don't mind the TV schedule personally. 8 seems too late for me, so I prefer having all of the good TV on at 7.
I know you know as you live on the west side but it's because if they can keep/save something aired earlier on east to be aired at prime time on west coast they cannot do it for something that has not happened yet ...
I think the thing is in the usa to always make it available for country wide around the same time or at the same period of the day but when the first to air the event is on the west side to be seen by all they accept to air it earlier (by airing it on a sunday instead of saturday too because on saturday afternoon you can eventually not be available on sunday you aremore likely at home )

for me ... living in europe it's gonna be LATE anyway

they are on Thurs. night as well on CNN. It's a show called Tribute to Heroes. I'm assuming they are singing on it. It starts 8pm ET.

That was yesterday but it's broadcasted only on Thursday. They sang "What Do You Got?".

They're not nominated for anything: perhaps Bon Jovi was the price the awards had to pay to get their record labelmates Rihanna and Justin Bieber on board...cue the official Jovitalk Ominous Chord!

And Katy Perry's a singer? I thought she did acne commercials.

Plus, I'm supposed to sit through a performance by Lady Gaga--all of a sudden, being waterboarded doesn't seem like such a bad deal.

I'm sure whatever they play will be riveting, as always.

I found this on some website...

"Bon Jovi will perform an extended set to celebrate the band’s 25 years in music: A medley of fan favorites"

If Jon had any brains (or balls), they would perform This Is Love, This Is Life, to promote the Ultimate Edition of the GH, since it's not on the standard.

I suspect an ego filled performance of What Do You Got, Bad Name, and It's My Life. They won't touch Prayer after embarrassing themselves at the Grammys last year.

We can dream, and that would be awesome. Although there is more of a chance of me being struck by lightning twice AND winning the grand prize in the lottery at the same time than there is of TILTIL being played. They would have to ***gasp***

practice.

I would love for you to be proven wrong, but that will be what they do. I could see how they would do Who Says instead of IML, as they think that song matters SOOO much here.
