Just to add to Debbie's review here is most of what I posted on Seb's board:

Maybe it was because I wasn't expecting much that I thought that this was so good. I have been to several acoustic JBJ fundraisers where all we got were three songs and that was it. I was hoping for a song or two from the new album but as I said - not really expecting much.

Theis started with some excellent discussion about the documentary and how it was approached by the various members. How it fit in to what the band does as a whole and lots of explanation by Jon as to what he didn't want it to be. He said that he was given a pile of other band's "tell all" books and he hated them. He didn't want to do a "who cheated with whom and who did which drugs" type book. Both Jon and Phil Griffin are very articulate people and covered many topics. This sort of thing may have bored the fans who only want rock but I have to say I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The musical part of the evening:

Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (Jon by himself with a comment about "this is one that got away")
Who Says You Can't Go Home (with Bobby Lorenza, Everett Bradley and Jerry Cohen on keyboards)
Living on a Prayer
Lost Highway
Whole Lot of Leaving
Superman Tonight (Jon and Bobby only - no one else knew it),
We Weren't Born To Follow (with awful keyboards - Jeff Kazee is in Europe with SSJ and Jerry Cohen was not up to the task. He was pretty bad)
Hallelujah (also had keyboard problems but excellent vocals from Jon)
Wanted (dedicated to Richie - wherever he is tonight)

Jon was in excellent voice and it was a very relaxed and non-scripted sort of evening. Marc (bjmjpl from this board) asked the first question from the audience about the setlists and the lack of rarities. Jon claimed that he "got it" and then the next woman asked him the same thing. We can only hope that he really did "get it".

Thanks for the reviews. Glad it was great and everyone had a good time.

Kathleen, what do you think Jon meant by saying Saturday Night was "one that got away"? Perhaps that he wishes it had made a regular studio album other than Crossroad?

He mentioned that with the runaway hit that Always became, Saturday Night kind of got lost in the flood LOL.

Now, that was a magic night. Not much to elaborate on that wouldn't be repeating Deb and Kathleen, but I will say SIBSN with just Jon and an acoustic was the absolute highlight for me, followed closely by Superman Tonight, which both JBJ and Bobby nailed.
