And if you've bought the album already, it costs nothing and you get something for nothing. You don't know you don't like the album unless you heard the album... which you'd had to have bought already. So, there's not issue there.
Unless, you're downloading the album and then not buying a copy.
So if that's your problem, then you're the problem the band is trying to fix isn't it? Buy the CD. Don't download. Don't burn CDs. Buy the CD.

I think the band do this for the fans, the real fans, and every real fan should have the original CD. I agree to share b-sides of released singles and rare songs but I wouldn't tolerate this.
