Walrus, just go to HMV next time you're getting a CD, buy bounce, note down the number, then take the CD back.
a better way would be to say all fans with ALL the band CD's get in, at least then you're getting fans, as opposed to having a situation where new fans who know nothing, are getting preferencial treatement to fans who may have been following the band for 20 years but just don't like the new album

So you don't think I deserve to get into AmericanXS?
I've not been a fan for 20 years, but hey, I'm only 18. I have all of the albums, including the guys solo albums, and have got a few singles too.
For me it's about liking the music, not how many discs you own or how long you've been a fan. It's hardly my fault that I've only been a fan for 3 years.

no, I think the whole thing shouldn't exist.
My point was, it's rewarding the people who buy the new album, as opposed to rewarding the fans.
What I'm saying is if entry is based on ownership of albums, it should be if you own all of them, as opposed to the one modern one. As on the whole, the 'bigger' fans are most likely to be the ones who own all hte albums. Still I was just making the point that it's a stupid system them have....
It should be a case where either tickets go on sale early for fan club, or they all go on sale at the same time... I don't think it's fair that the band say you can get tickets earlier than other fans because you've bought the new album.

for once, i agree entirely.
apart from the point you made about people buying the CD not being fans just because it's possibly their first bon jovi CD.

I didn't say it doesn't make them fans, I meant that it doesn't make them superior in anyway.... It doesn't make them bigger or better fans to own the new album, so they shouldn't get bigger and better privilages.
