Default An Apology

I think its only right i offer an apology to a certain number of people on here. I have over the past few weeks / months said on a few occasions that i feel people on here want the band to fail so they can gloat and enjoy that!

This was unfair on the majority of people it was aimed at, when i seen Seb's website it kinda hit me that no one who puts that much work into something could possibly want the band to screw up or would enjoy it if they did.

I possibly do see things through slightly tinted glasses with regards to Jovi, but thats just me. I love the new album, still think Jon's voice sounds ok etc etc and i wont apoligise for that, but like i said i have snapped at a few people on here because they did not agree with this and that was wrong.

However i do feel that there is some idiots on here that DO enjoy it when the band dip below standards, and can't wait to start an argument and never see good in the band, and i will still try and call them on it if i think thats what they are doing.

But to the people who i have annoyed by saying things to them because i don't agree with them, i was wrong, i am sorry....you all know who you are

I have jovi tinted glasses on because I love the new album and am going to Hyde park.
No need to apologise as I do think there are some people on this board who want the band to fail.
There's someone on here who has 60 posts and hasn't posted one positive comment.

For all his negativity to the band - Seb usually never slates without a reason he's at least put some thought into, and that website took a lot of work and he's spent a lot of money seeing them in various countries. So whilst we rarely agree with each other, I still have to respect his opinion.

I think people probably assume I have rose tinted glasses too - though the way I see it I've been a fan way, way long enough to see them evolve and change and whilst not everything is to my liking, and I'd rather their songs were still heavier and Jon's voice was still the best in the business - I can still enjoy what they do, especially live, which is where it absolutely counts for me.

Seb does it for the attention and the weak fall into his traps.

When a band (or anything for that matter) hits its peak, of course it's not going to be up to that same par almost 20 years later.

There are 2 roads to take, the glass is half full or the glass is half empty. People in general love to complain! They thrive to be negative and that's what you get here. People just being people.

Some people get that this band is not at it's peak, each member is over 50, but could still have some decent moments. Others however, live in a time warp and expect to see and hear the same things that happened 20 years ago.

I tend to fall in the middle where most people should be. Sure, it's disappointing to see the band age, struggle, and have moments below their par but instead of constantly crying, I get where they are.

At the end of the day, I still find enjoyment within this band. I have a blast at their concerts and there are a few new songs off each album that I could get into. Jon said it best, Bon Jovi is now a body of work! A new album now, are only 12 songs thrown into a pool of 300. There are too many good songs in that pool of 300 to outweigh the bad. Going forward, it would take another 300 bad songs just to break even and then another 300 after that to make me hate them.

There's no need for that when we're talking about things he does for the benefits of the fans on this forum and elsewhere, things there are absolutely no reward for.
