I think people probably assume I have rose tinted glasses too - though the way I see it I've been a fan way, way long enough to see them evolve and change and whilst not everything is to my liking, and I'd rather their songs were still heavier and Jon's voice was still the best in the business - I can still enjoy what they do, especially live, which is where it absolutely counts for me.

Seb does it for the attention and the weak fall into his traps.
When a band (or anything for that matter) hits its peak, of course it's not going to be up to that same par almost 20 years later.
There are 2 roads to take, the glass is half full or the glass is half empty. People in general love to complain! They thrive to be negative and that's what you get here. People just being people.
Some people get that this band is not at it's peak, each member is over 50, but could still have some decent moments. Others however, live in a time warp and expect to see and hear the same things that happened 20 years ago.
I tend to fall in the middle where most people should be. Sure, it's disappointing to see the band age, struggle, and have moments below their par but instead of constantly crying, I get where they are.
At the end of the day, I still find enjoyment within this band. I have a blast at their concerts and there are a few new songs off each album that I could get into. Jon said it best, Bon Jovi is now a body of work! A new album now, are only 12 songs thrown into a pool of 300. There are too many good songs in that pool of 300 to outweigh the bad. Going forward, it would take another 300 bad songs just to break even and then another 300 after that to make me hate them.
