If that's the case he doesn't understand that fans find Bon Jovi's latest release not that good as he hoped.

Salaam Aleikum,

The true bonjovi fans thought the album was great, dont speak for everyone when you make your statements! and before you say, im not some fanboy who wont here a bad word said against the band, bonjovi have released some stinkers in the past, but tlfr isnt one of them.

The only "stinker" so far has been TLFR. There have been bad calls but none as bad as TLFR.

A true fan would love all of their albums and not call any of them stinkers.

That statement doesn't make much sense does it? Neither does saying that a true fan thinks TLFR is great. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but don't say that they are not true fans because of them.

Y'know, I tend to get very violent whenever the words 'true fan' are mentioned

you know. thinking about it, my statement about true fan, didnt make much sense,i withdraw my comment.
however, it bugs me how tlfr seems to get slated, and there have been lots of posts from people saying that the fans hate it.im a fan, and i love it. as for stinkers, there have been, i wont go into that now, in fact this thread could be in danger of turning into another tlfr discussion,so i guess i typed my post on the spur of the moment, in defense to what i consider a great album.
to try and convey what a true fan is, is probably impossible, everyones a fan, and everyones a critic, however if bonjovi are going through a period of change and tlfr is a taste of the future, i for one will still be listening.

I hope the hell it's not, 'cause I, for one, won't be.

I don't think it will be. It was an experiment, one that didn't go over too well sale wise. I doubt we will have to worry about the band doing it again, at least I hope they don't.

it was a one off, even if it rocketed i dont think they would have stuck with it...this may sound out of character but TLFR was an artistic masturbation, simple as that.
