Default An evening with BJ MTV 92 rehearsals & complete shows in Soundboard quality

Hey everyone,

Don't know if this was known on the board already.. if so, I must have missed it..

Both evenings & rehearsals of the 92 MTV Unplugged show are on youtube in soundboard quality.
It includes a great recording of Fields of Fire electric.

Rehearsal #1: Rehearsal #2: Night #1: Night #2:
Enjoy!

I can't thank you enough for this.
I swear that I cried when I heard Stick To Your Guns. What an amazing version of an amazing song.

Love the improvisation of lyrics. One the outro of Bad Name for example.

Thanks for posting.

I was noticing that they didn't tune down their instruments for the rehearsals.

Both are played in the original key. Now, I'm pretty sure that they played the live shows (the acoustic ones in 1992) with their instruments tuned half step down.

Could somebody know the reason why they'd rehearse without tuning it down ? You can notice Jon strugling to hit the notes here.

So Jon could stretch it out during rehearsal.

It´s pretty interesting that Jon seemed to be very fond of "Fields of Fire" around that time. Yet it didn´t make KTF or any Singles and as far as I know was never played live again.
